Copenhagen, Day 3 (My Actifit Report Card: August 3 2019)

In the morning Hive account@laputis and I decided to go to Botanical gardens once more today and maybe do some shopping to bring some souvenires and gifts home. But on our way to Botanical gardens, we came across an imposing Rosenborg Castle.

We bought the tickets and waited for about 30 minutes for our tour to start. In the castle we saw amazing collection of 400 year old art as well as shining jewellery.

Afterwards we were already tired so Botanical gardens were out of the table. Instead we went to the art gallery. It has Danish and Nordic art, European art and French art collections on permanent display. My favorite was probably Dutch art from the 17th century (although it's hard to pick from such a wealth of paintings). I didn't know anything about Nordic art so this was a nice introduction for me.

Then we were hungry and wanted to grab some lunch from the cafeteria inside the gallery. But they only had some sweets and coffee. So we went outside to look for proper place to eat.

We found a restaurant which had interesting sandwiches. Hive account@laputis had one with the goat cheese and I - with tuna. After our late lunch we went for some shopping and then back to the hotel because we were exhausted. We stayed in the room for the rest of the day in the room but I went and bought a pizza for dinner too which we ate while watching "The Mummy Comes Back" on TV.

Hive account@laputis had some nasty coughs but I think her antibiotics and other medicine were already working. Before going to sleep we packed our bags for tomorrow's flight home.

It's amazing how much we saw of Copenhagen today despite Hive account@laputis bronchitis.
