It's been a while since I've walked this much. Funny how my original plan was to go on a completely different trekking route today, but missing the bus for about 30 seconds made me rearrange the day... and it was probably the best thing I've done!
This was the journey start, a funicular to the town of Brunate. From there, first stop was the lighthouse, Faro voltiano, to enjoy the view.
Lake Como stood down below, and from here, a few more paths through the mountains were available, depending on how much one would want to walk.
So I walked to the top of Mount Bolleto. And the route there, was just amazing.
Up in the back, we could see the Alps, covered in snow. This landscapes will deserve another post, some of the photos are on the zoom camera, and posting through mobile I can't do the round up they deserve. But the views... man, I don't think I can put them in words well enough.
Standing above the clouds, breathing fresh air, and snow capped mountains all around: priceless!
