Today I was very touched because my students threw a surprise party for me because I am leaving their school. They even went to the effort of getting an Everton cake, which was almost sabotaged by some of them claiming I support Liverpool. The end of the year creeps closer and closer, so it is a time for goodbyes and good lucks. I hope I will be reunited with them in a couple of years' time when they reach secondary school, but until then I will remember our celebrations today.
