I really have no idea how I got over 10,000 steps today. It must have been mostly at work, but I spent so much time sitting on my butt clicking a mouse and moving a cursor around.
Okay, so I did some yardwork when I got home, after putting enchiladas in the oven. Mostly weed whacking with a battery-powered weed whacker after having mowed the lawn Sunday with my battery-powered lawn mover. I am slowly moving away from gasoline. If Steem moons, sign me up for a Tesla rather than a Lambo. ;-)
It was a very wet Memorial Day here, something like 2 inches (5 cm) of rain. Parts of the back yard are still soaked even after a dry Tuesday. After a particularly brutal winter, we’ve had an unusually wet spring. Farmers all over the upper Midwest are a month behind in their planting, I’ve heard that farmers in the Northwest are having similar problems. Call it a guess, food production in America may be down significantly this fall. And that’s not even factoring in the current boneheaded trade war.
If tomorrow stays dry, I’m hoping to take a good walk after work. I have been hitting 10k maybe five days a week but would like to start getting it up to at least 12k on a fairly regular basis.
