it’s been a while since i’ve felt heat and humidity like this. the mosquitoes are a refresher, too. i’m somewhere in the mark twain national forest. that’s correct, i’m several hundred miles from home right now, so go right ahead and start making plans to break into my apartment and steal all my valuables. i assure you that you’ll find none. plus, the cameras will record everything so i doubt it’s in your best interest. did i mention the humidity here? the second i step outside of my car to put gas in it, i break out in a full sweat. thank the gods for air conditioning. i wonder what people used to do before modern conveniences like air conditioning and home security cameras. they probably just sweated a lot and got all their shit stolen. is sweated a word? do i really not have any valuables? am i really in the mark twain national forest, or am i making all of this up? can someone remind me which unmarked forest service road i parked my car on? thanks.
