After shaking the frost off this morning the sun came out and warmed us up enough to go collect more Pinion nuts today. We didn't see Paul today so we took the truck up with the dogs
Drove the truck a ways up the rough road here, then we finished the rest on foot going near where Paul had shown us a good spot. Underneath the taller trees we found plenty more Pinion nuts to keep us busy.
After noon, we stopped for lunch I had packed in my rucksack. Crackers with more canned fish filled us up since we had been snacking on nuts.

When we had collected about as much as we had the other day we walked back down to the truck and made our way back to camp. So far we have collected around 5 lbs, filling at least two of these containers.
Tonight we're cooking steak burgers with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. I found the burgers on sale yesterday when picking up a part for our solar at Walmart. Pork tacos for lunch tomorrow and probably a lazy day!
