After getting out of the cold in Colorado last week, we finally found some decent weather down here in southeast Oklahoma. On our way from Durango, Co we stopped at Blanca, CO, Felt, OK, Oklahoma City, OK, and finally near Tishimingo, OK on the Blue River.
We had some rain and cool temps last few days, but nothing like what we left in Colorado. Today the sun came out and it got up to 64 degrees, we went for a walk along the river.
The site has been pretty busy with trout fishermen, they just recently stocked the area with more fish.
Otherwise we have a pretty good spot and besides lots of people passing by we have not been bothered.
We are both quitting smoking and it's been about 3 days now. I'm also going to cut out drinking beer so we can save some money this winter.
Tonight I'm cooking boudin with mashed potatoes on the grill.
