皆さん、こんにちは。私には17歳の息子がいますが、現在ファーストフードのお店でアルバイトをしています。
オーストラリアではファーストフードの仕事は、アルバイトを初めてする高校生にとても人気の仕事です。
I have a 17 year old son who currently works at a fast food restaurant called Hungry Jack's.
The burger restaurant is his first job, a great place for teenagers to start their careers in customer service or food handling.
このお店では、男性スタッフはキッチン、女性スタッフは接客を担当しています。息子はハンバーガーを作ったり、フライドポテトを揚げたりしています。一緒に働いている同僚達はみな若くて、とても楽しく働いているようです。
My son works in the restaurant's kitchen. All of the male employees would make burgers and fries.
He said that people are great and it is a very fun and enjoyable to work there.
先日、息子は｢Crew member of the month, Burger room｣(この1ヶ月、一番頑張ったキッチン・スタッフ) として表彰されました。そしてバイトから帰宅して、嬉しそうに私に表彰状を見せてくれました。
He has received a company award for ''Crew member of the month'' as a kitchen staff in the restaurant.
He was so delighted to get it and showed it to me right after he came back from work.
小さい頃はどこに行くにも私と一緒だった息子が、アルバイトをしてお金を稼ぐようになり、職場で表彰されるなんて⋯ 彼の成長をとても嬉しく思いました。(親バカですw)
秋とは言え、今日は31度の暑い一日でしたが、一万歩以上ウォーキングができました。
