... has to be one of my favourite times of the week. I always enjoy the ending of the working week and the start of the weekend and Fridays evenings are a bit special. Those rare occasions when you have the house to yourself and no one to worry about are even more of a treat.
It's been a busy tidy friday, clearing up after the decorators on Monday, re-hanging blinds and putting the furniture back in place. Then the landscapers arrived to talk about the next stage of re-designing my front garden - moving the garden path. I've got a very boring garden of lawn, path and not much else. The end is shaded by a hedge and a tree and, once the path is moved, I'm going to plant a more natural permaculture arrangement.
I took the afternoon off and enjoyed a film and some knitting before a very breezy walk this evening between rain showers. Fortunately, we don't seem to have suffered too much damage, just a few broken pots and tumbled over garden chairs. Then settling down to a no hassle supper and no washing up: bonus!
