Which is why I’m stoked to introduce a segment called the Daily Health Highlight Reel, where I’ll share some wins from the day in terms of health and wellness.
Today involved a few hours of dancing - hence the bad ass disco ball cover photo.
Also - I wasn’t able to have my phone on me while dancing, so I actually had closer to 10k steps today according to my Apple Watch. 🤷♀️
The Daily Health Highlight Reel
Completed 4 micro workouts throughout the day for a total of 50 squats, 60 lunges, 25 pushups, 50 standing oblique twists, and 2 minutes of wall sits.
Went for a 20 minute run.
Ate clean with mostly protein, fat and veggies. Even though I went out to happy hour friends and just wanted to order aaaaall the fried things. My strategy was that I ate before I left and then just got a glass of wine and a side salad. (Bonus - I saved money too)
Spent time stretching this morning right after I got up and again right after my run.
Stood 4 hours at my desk today instead of sitting.
Danced west coast swing for 2.5 hours this evening.
