O boy Cougars!!! 😻
I started my hike today at the top of my road and saw my neighbors dog tracks in the fresh snow. Nothing new here, he walks his dog here every day. After I started up my steep trail it finally dawned on me those tracks were still going uphill.🤔
I can’t believe that I didn’t look down......these fresh tracks were not dog tracks, you can spot dog tracks by the claws in the print and the solid rear pad.
The Cougars are back, and on my trail!😻
I followed my trail and the tracks up to were my other neighbor has his off-grid cabin....... Take a look at the tracks going under the porch!!!!
Now look at the stride in the picture with my boot...... it’s about 18 inches!🤠This is a juvenile Cougar!!!
I’ve got to tell you this really creeped me out!!!!!
I skipped hiking past the cabin today I was by myself, this felt bad.
You also can tell a big cat by the foot pad, it has three sections, just like a domestic house cat.....but much bigger!😻
