I have been watching this tree slowly crack bigger and bigger with every wind storm, and it’s still hanging in there.........Literally Lol! 🤔
I tend to hike past this quickly, because there really isn’t much holding this tree!
This last photo from today’s hike doesn’t look like anything special, but just up this trail on the left the forest goes almost vertical uphill.....
The brush is so thick you can’t see through, but the very strong smell of Cougar urine will almost take your breath away!😳
I know domestic male cats spray to mark there territory, so I imagine this is what is happening with our Cougars!
Just when I believed they were headed back up to higher ground, I realized they are still close...... it kind of creeped 
So I spent some of my hike walking backward and looking in the trees!
No cats sighted, and 80 floors tonight!
