Today has finally come to an end, it was quite successful, a lot was learnt.
During one of my health teaching classes, we prepared a teaching plan for the elderly, the plan focused on encouraging the elderly to continue to try to do their daily activities on their own according to their capacity, and also incorporating a bit of exercise into their daily activities. These exercises could be actively don by they themselves, or could be passively assisted by a care giver.
A lot of diseases could be prevented with daily exercise, especially cardiovascular diseases, 30mins if daily exercise is encouraged everyday or most of the days according to one’s capabilities.
Today, I was able to take several short walks, not really as I intended but it counts as an endeavour to keep fit.
