Yesterday I started the day very late, with a long walk towards the city center, a visit to a barber shop, and amazing time spent in an art galerie:
The exposition was built around the famous romanian painter Nicolae Tonitza (April 13, 1886 – February 27, 1940).
He is one my preferred romanian painters.
I love the composition, the colors, the equilibrium of his art... Most known for the portrets of kids with beautiful big eyes, N. Tonitza had a major role in introducing modernist guidelines to local art:
