A morning walk to East River Park
This morning the sun was shining and it was nice and cool at about 55F (which is I think about 13C) so I decided to go for a little walk before heading to the office, Well it was so nice out and my legs were feeling fairly good for the most part so it was slightly more than a little walk but a nice way to start the day, I actually did 10K steps before 10 AM so this counts for an Automatic Win.
I will share photos of where I walked below, but the rest of the day I took it fairly easy
As usual, I am starting this actifit posts with a couple of photos taken previously with my Sony Camera, that somehow relate to the photos I took on my Walk.
This first shot is one that is photographed by so many people when they visit DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) Brooklyn and you may also have seen it in many Movies and TV Shows, and is a well-photographed spot, but that doesn't stop me getting shots of it when I visit there, and the bridge is Manhattan bridge

Morning walk photos taken with the iPhoneWhenI go off the train in Grand Central I caught the 6 Subway up to canal street and started my walk,
Now you may be wondering how shots taken in Brooklyn, relate to the photos I took this morning if I was walking in Manhattan, well read on and you will see
My walk took me past Little Italy which is all set up for the ongoing San Gennaro Festival, not many people there at 7 in the morning but during the day this street will be packed, I did see a sign that today at 1PM there was the 1st Annual Zeppole eating contest, and although this contest is in its first year I believe the festival itself has been held since 1926

Now I got to where I wanted to visit for this mornings walk and of course, I was heading for the water in this case the East River which I show in the next shot with a view of the Manhattan Bridge ( and hence why I shared shots of this bridge at the start of this post :)

And here is the screenshot to show I did 0K steps before 10Am and therefore achieved an automatic win, my legs were feeling a little achy by the time I got to the office but better than they were a week or so ago andI took it fairly easy for the rest of the day
And that’s all folks
unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.
