Just arrived from a long working day at the supplier’s premises...
Attending one Production meeting and a Videoconference with a some colleagues of states regarding the ITER project...
Almost no time to have a good lunch at noon on when we all ate a piece of pizza brought to the meeting room in a sort of 30’ break...
The project which I managed is at a very busy time. In a few months we have to manage to finish the manufacturing of the biggest Superconducting Magnet ever build and ship them from Venice to Marseille and reach the delivery place after completing 75 Km by road.
Perhaps these things don’t say too much to you in order to understand the “Magnitude of the project” but if I tell you that the weight of this magnet is comparable to the weight of a 747 and the dimensions of the complete crate are something around 18m x 10m x 8m maybe you would understand much better...
For the moment everything is under control but frankly we are living every day as a new challenge...
Ok, it’s time to enjoy my “Polpo Grigliato” because, well, I deserve it...
Buon appetito!
