Small hike, big adventure! Iowa Hill Road or the Mineral Bar Camp is know as rafting drop in and gold prospecting area. Pennyweight Trail is a short rugged trail that leads to good fishing and prospecting runs. It’s an interesting area because the beginning of the trail is a California State Recreation Area(SRA), but the rest of the trail is BLM which has different regulations.
