Today was packed chalk full of action from start to finish! And now I’m finished... but not before a bout with the battle ropes!
So what’s your favorite exercise? I’ll tell you what... when you go to the gym take time to do the exercises that DON’T make you feel strong and in your element. Chose to dive things up by going outside of your comfort zone. When the exercises is difficult that means your addressing the opposite of your strong points and becoming a better version of yourself.
So many people walk into the gym and they stick to the routines and workouts that make them feel the best. You know the ones that work their trophy muscles! But the problem with this approach is that you end up avoiding your weak links when your focus is only on what your good at...
So next time you go to the gym... pick some difficult exercises. Pick some new moves. Do something that is hard. Adjust the exercise so that it’s harder to do... focus on your weak links.
After you have done that... pick your favorite exercise and end the workout with a high point!
That’s what I did this evening! Battle Ropes for fun and fitness! They are a fantastic bicep and tricep workout annnnnnnd this is a unique way to get your cardio in! Add in the double rope smash at the end (like in the gif above) to add some power and force to your workout! There you go! A nice high point finish to your workout (and mine!)
Speaking of which... starting your day with intentionality is also a good way to set up your day to win! I did this by achieving an #AutomaticWin this morning! 10,000 steps before 10am on a Sunday morning! 🙌
Ok! So this is officially a BODY post! Previous posts have covered the SPIRIT Health Compounder... but I decided to jump ahead of sequence with my posts... just because it seemed right!
I hope that your all doing well and taking time out of your busy lives to fit fitness in for a better/healthier lifestyle!
Until next time,
