Annual Comfrey
1st real day back in the world from being downed by flu since Wednesday.
Weeded: around 3 circle beds, blackberry fence and under Jacaranda. Watered all front garden new planting areas including beet seeds [ 😉 @ marianne], cycled water in worm tower. Harvested about 1/2 lb nectarines, 1 qt of blackberries, set 2 gopher traps and expanded our predatory nature to include setting 3 rat bucket traps to prevent further damage to nectarine harvest. Mulched beet beds, mulched walkway path around deck plantings that Tiny connected a garden hose to run dripper to keep Bday Cucs plantings irrigated. Checked on onion and chard seedlings- looking good! Let chickens out for last hour of day.
Tiny n I celebrated a good days work by eating brats and homemade sauerkraut for dinner! Dee-lish!
