Thanks to , I am inspired to share my own fitness journey and battle with addiction. So here it goes...
In 1997 I was diagnosed with an extremely rare, degenerative, neurological disease.
Years passed and I was deteriorating. I was very depressed and drank way to much. I self medicated with alcohol, numbing myself as I went through life.
Then I became a father and knew something had to change. This is when I decided to really fight my disease. I go to the gym, physical therapy, pilates, and more- and I have improved immensely! Fitness has become a huge part of my life. At 38 years old, I've never been stronger- or happier!
I hardly ever drink anymore and being fit permeates my life. I owe my success to my son and fitness!
