I want to adopt a minnow
If you were paying attention this week, this platform had a wonderful idea that was started. The idea originated from @whatsup and came to fruition by @brandyb running with it. So, this week after talking with 
I have never adopted a minnow before, so this is a bit new to me. I have, however, guided quite a few people through training them to increase the quality of their blogs, the quality of their comments, some basic markdown, and just provide overall support. I am sure a few people can attest to that. So, when I was thinking about this whole endeavor I was asking myself what I thought the best way to go about finding my minnow was, and I came up with this.
Tell me why I should adopt you (a minnow)
Are you a minnow?
Do you need/want some extra support?
Are you enthusiastic and willing to learn?
Great! Those are just the basics. Here is what I am looking for in a minnow to adopt, please read below.
Topkpop's requirements for her minnow:
I am looking for a minnow that will not only want to receive support but is willing to give it.
I feel I could best help a minnow who creates content in a few spaces (Preferably Music/ or music related, Art, Video/Vlogs, Photography, Poetry, and Gaming)
Someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn
Must have at least 5 quality posts
A person who is here to face their fears/get out of their comfort zone or is desiring to do so
Someone who wants to build their confidence a bit (ideal)
Be genuine & desire meeting a new friend
Here is what you get from me:
A huge supporter that will comment and upvote your posts and engage with you
I will give you a resteem on quality posts at least once a week
If you are doing well enough I will mention you in a post once a week and maybe even on my radio show
I will help guide you and give you the knowledge that I have and with tips to improve
I will be available on discord (if you choose to use it) daily so you can ask questions, get guidance, and whatever else
Be genuine and honest with you
Help you in whatever ways I can that will benefit you if I think of them
I will delegate you some steempower (amount I see fit)
I will do this for a month Jan 21st - Feb 19th
How do you apply to become my minnow?
That's the fun part! I want you to be creative. I like creative. If you want to be considered then I need you to write a post. In the post answer these questions:
- Why should I adopt you?
- How will you be a supportive minnow?
- Write a nice little blurb about someone you follow, I want to hear something nice about them
- Use the tag #adoptaminnow
That's it! Then come into the comment section on this post and post your link. You have a couple of days. My cut off for this will be Saturday, January 20th. I will make my decision and make a post about it the next day.
