Life has got so many tricks, and just like Time, its own real tocks and ticks
It can change your take, and without notice raise the stakes
But don't ever be fooled, to the one who plays fair
It rewards with smiles, and a great handsome share
Never repay good with evil, however tempting the enemy's offer
Never in anger make another pay for what they know nothing about and suffer
Otherwise, forever in your crib will toil, guilt and fear take full residence
And their master, an unrestricted access to your presence
If you find a soul that is beautiful inside out
A mind that's ready to die for the course of another's inner shout
Hold tight to them my friend, and make sure you never let go
'Cos Life never makes such in great volumes for you to pick as you go
Do unto all as you'll want Life to pay you a reward
And give unto others a portion as though Time has paid you forward.
Always remember, and never forget, the measure with which you invest
With such, Life and Time will ultimately make sure you reap in principal and with interest
