A reindeer got lazy and took a quick Cozy nap while the snow started to fall. A beautiful weather for a staycation either alone or with company. This is a bit late for the 18th day of Advent drawing challenge but I am posting it still. I know some of you my friends would love to see this kind of drawing.
Here below are some of the process photos to give you an idea how I made this entry:
I used the same character from previous entry and tried to be consistent with the color choices whenever possible. I want him to be grabbing his pillow while under a warm blanket for that Cozy effect
Testing the background colors to see how they would work with the reindeer's base colors. Took a while to get them right
The walls look rather blank and need some details so I added some highlights and scratches. Same with the red rug I added some needle work. The pine tree is a last minute addition.
