Hello folks!
Long time no see....but ofc I have a good reason for that....some crazy adventure on a mountain and I've caught a cold again...:D As always I let a few days to pass, so I can sort the tetris pieces in my head....
Well, this time I went to Montenegro. We call it the country of stone, cause there are mountains and sea and nothing more. The trip to our starting point lasted for about ten hours and 400km. But whenever and wherever I go and I'm tired as hell and when I see where I will be in a few hours, it feels like I have pushed the restart button. I didn't say that we went to Kucke mountains, which are located 40 km from Kolasin, smaller town in the middle of Montenegro.
Ok then, the starting point is Bukumirsko lake. It's a great place for camping, especially in this part of the year.
And now enjoy the views up to the mountains....Good Morning literally!!!
Our peaks were still in the fog. Name of the peak (in the middle) is Pasjak (2025m). I think is the hardest one to climb of all three. On the right is Stitan (2147m) and Surdup (2184m) you can't see from this perspective.
When we start to climb, I like to be at the end of the group for photographing and as the time goes by I increase my tempo and I'm just behind the guide. The benefit of it is that you have longer pauses for resting. xD
Soon we were in the forest. Leaves under our feet reminded me of all literary homework assignments...."Autumn in my city/street" and how it was hard back then and now I would have so much to tell... :)
Soon we were out of it, again in the fog....and after one hour, maybe more we had first pause and I never had a sweeter breakfast than that . Sometimes an ordinary sandwich with ham can taste like a steak in soy sauce. :D Full of cheese pie and chocolate we continue our route.
This is me trying to climb some strange shaped rock...
As soon as you think you are there, facepalm, bam....and Del Boy's "what a plonker". :D
And Pasjak, our third peak we left behind with decision to climb it on our way back.
We needed a little bit more than three hours from the foot of the mountain to climb the first peak Stitan. And now tell me, was it worth it?
You don't know where to look....
In the background you can see the mountains named Komovi. I would call this photograph "Masters of the scene"
We made a half hour long pause, enough for another bite and watching a million stones view....
and we were going there, to Surdup...here is the bigger and the last picture made from Stitan.
15 minutes later, one look over the shoulder and ta da......
And I put my camera in the backpack, cause I needed my hands so I can climb like a monkey....but the toooooop was amazing and the best break ever....
Sun was my best friend that day although I was there with one of them, but still....
This pic is my favorite one from this hiking
We spent one hour for sure there....it was perfect...I closed my eyes for 15 minutes and then I was still out of the Aladin's lamp.
I can keep posting photographs and it can last forever....but there are no words.....we were just sun catchers and nothing more on the ground until the moment came to go on.
Again Pasjak on our path....
and there comes the real adventure. Some guy fell during descending and his knee popped out. Luckily, we had a doctor so this turned out fine. My friend took the picture of that moment and I was like I'm a friend with a devil who captures everything on the crime scene. Finger in my ear!!! xD
On our way down was a glacier, but I don't have any pic to prove it. And Pasjak was off the topic. I was sad a little bit but we didn't have that time.
Three peaks in one phototraph
and still magnificent...eyes wide open and fixed on those peaks, but there is a long road in front of us...
one look ahead, one look back
and we are in woods.....that sound. I bet that you hate when you hear the sound of a plastic bag, but this is so simmilar but a pleasant sound.
and we were out
and lets finish this day with the pic at the lake where we started. Some people were there with a tent and camp fire....food, some barbicue smelled like the most beautiful parfume. :D
to be continued.....
