The Hennops Hiking trail is about an hour's drive from Johannesburg. We set out last Sunday to go on a short hike on a beautifully overcast morning.
We chose the 5km Zebra trail. It was a balanced walk covering steep and flat ground.
A not great pic of a butterfly - he wouldn't sit still.
Pretty flowers. When dried up they turn into "itchy powder". When we were kids we would all pick them and throw them down each other's shirts and we would all itch like crazy.
