You should definitely check it out there is a ton to do. Vancouver is actually really huge and there are tons of ferries there and they have a few airports as well so not too remote but it is beautiful, it even has a rain forest. But the real gem there is the west coast trail, its a 47 mile hike along the western coast and it is unreal.
