All day long we bore witness to the formation of countless thunderstorms off about 10 miles to the East and moving eastward. Fortunate we were not caught under those torrential rains as they persisted for another day of flooding wherever the rains fell.
Living up a little higher on a hill has it's advantages.. but we too have seen some epic rain accumulation. Definitely need a break from the rain for a few days so the ground may dry up a bit.
As I was filming one of these beautiful updrafts billow about, the rain began to come down right over top of Indigo and I.. light at first but large droplets fell very quickly thereafter and was fortunate enough to have not gotten any water damage. Who doesn't like a little chaos?
Indigo enjoys a light rain it seems. Too heavy though and she will stay inside. But she has grown some way about the birdcam.. even taking it out of the case indoors to get to the memory chip.. she begins pacing around in a circle and wincing at me.. like as if to say, "Oh yeah! Let's go play!'
