The one activity that I am very fond of and whenever I get opportunity I try to do it. Aerial Yoga is not something that I can do at home, since it needs a special set up. Sadly in Muscat there are no classes also, whenever I travel to Mumbai I make it a point to take up few sessions and fulfill my passion.
Yesterday was the second session, the first one went a bit hectic for me as it was after a long gap so to get back into the groove it took me some time, but the yesterday session went pretty well and I fell myself back into the rhythm. Thankfully there are no aches and pains and I am feeling so good after doing it. During this 2 week stay I have 8 sessions planned of which 2 are already over and 6 more to go.
Some glimpses from yesterday's session. Some of the poses are repetitive so I did not have much of an issue. A lot of strength goes in while doing this form. When I am doing it after a long time I lose on the strength part and it takes some time for me to build it up again. I think by the end of 3rd session I will do much better.
This was a difficult one and I needed my instructor's support to do it
This pose looks challenging but it is a very simple one to do
This pose too I needed support to do a flip at one point
A very easy go on these
One thing I have learned in this form of Yoga is you need to let go off yourself free, you will be gripped with the fear of falling, if you set your mind free and trust the process and take the falls when needed you will be supported by the cloth and safe.
And even if we fall, there is always a chance to stand up again and do it. In life also we need to implement the same philosophy. Our fears grip us and sometimes we do not try with the fear of failing, worst come to worst what will happen, we will fail and we will need to do it all over again. But there are chances that we will have a victory and with that hope one must never stop trying.
