It is often said that no man can succeed without knowledge, knowledge in what you may ask, well, knowledge in what it is the man is trying to so.
We humans often become too comfortable with our habits and routines, that when things come knocking down, we are often unprepared for it. Since the early days of man, certain routines have been known to increase the likelyhood of one being successful in life.
The topic may be a bit misleading in all honesty. While it sounds like success on steemit and outside of it are two different things, the truth is, the fulfillment of one, will lead to the fulfillment of the other.
Success however, doesn't have to be in monetary terms, success can be attained in many other ways.
For me, what determines success is when Africans are able to stand up willingly and let go of their old practices, or should I say, let go of those that have been holding them back.
All my life I lived as a black man in a black world. Not a black world as one from america would suggest, racism, no, in Africa your skin colour didn't matter, we were all black, so that interpretation of blackness does not work.
The interpretation of blackness I give here is one likened to strife, agony, both physically and mentally. A blackness lit with weary hope.
The blackness emanating from a set few individuals that have held this continent in perpetual captivity.
Hope and success
Like I was saying, guides to success. If the gods of the land could hear us now, they would tear us africans all down due to our foolishness. For while we pray to them, they have already given us the ingredents to success
Hope, love, knowledge.
These things did the gods give to us, or was it man that gave ourselves these things.
No matter, back to the topic.
Hope, is what keeps us in africa going day in day out, hopefor a better day, hope for a better life. Hope to live the american dream that many africans seem to have.
When the governments take over our lands, we hope
When the military tears down our farms, we hope
When the bandits thief our crops, we hope
When our neighbors play with our lives, we ** hope**
A weary hope in the blackness, is a light that drives the rest of the ingredients.
Love,
These qualities need not be explained to the average individual. Love for your neighbor make you do things for them. Love for your wife makes you keep up with her nagging. Love for the family helps us to stay afloat on top of all the drama.Without love, we are dead, without love, we have no other purpose but to be greedy, without love, we have no need to innovate.
Love bringeth care, care bringeth community engagement, community engagement bringth sharing of ideas, sharing of ideas bringth innovation and inventions, for the betterment of those we love.
For some they love the world, so they invest 100% in the growth of it, some love thir community so they work tirelessly to give the best to the people.
Love
knowledge
And perhaps the most powerful guide of all. Knowledge.
All great men seek knowledge, all great institution carries. . . . knowledge.
All tech and advancements ever made , was made with . . . knowledge.
There are only two basic instincts in the world.
- The quest for food and sustenance
- The quest for knowledge and information.
A man who knows everything controls the world, A man who knows your passcode controls your phone. A man who know the banks vault codes, is a rich man indeed.
Knowledge is power, and that power,is life itself.
So you may be asking what any of this has to do with africa, orsteemit.
Steemit operates in the same principles that the world has always had to operate in.
The principles that we as humans carry in can however, be changed. We can have missions here that change the outlook of our normal lives. Steemit is a whole new world that can be made into so much more.
A disruptive technology, within a disruptive technology(cryptocurrencies) .
Africans arise, for thy light has come, and no political/elite/cultural/tribal/ laced darkness can comprehend it!
Africans on steemit can start projects without government aids.
Research students can begin to process new and inventive technology to better themselves and their loved ones.
No more do children need to run for greener pasture abroad and possibly never come back. They can now build themselves from here, and develope their countries from the inside out.
One of the biggest obstacles to success in African growth is the fact that leaders, even the young ones are required, as if by some mystic laws and order, to be part of a caucus, and the rues of that caucus limits the powers of these individuals.
With steemit, I see a leader standing our and being capable of holding on his own, a leader capable of financial independence, a leader capable of using steemit, or its smart tokens, to create a new decentralized world for his/her citizens.
