The adventure continues with my second submission from the outing, and probably one of the park's most entertaining animals.
Giraffe (Giraffa)
Giraffe are considered the tallest living animals on the planet, similar to how Zebra have unique stripes so too Giraffe have unique spots. The are considered to be even-toed ungulate mammals. The Giraffe tongue, palate and lips are very tough, to allow them access to foliage of the various types of thorn trees as they consider them a delicacy. Giraffe can eat up to 35kg (75lb) of foliage a day.
