Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa.
It covers an area of 19,485 square kilometres (7,523 sq mi) in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa, and extends 360 kilometres (220 mi) from north to south and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from east to west.(https://en.wikipedia.org)
It’s about the same size as the whole of Israel, the size of the whole of Wales, a little smaller than Belgium and about a third of the size of Ireland... It's quite BIG!
We drove through a lower section of the park and had the privilege of a bull elephant walking across the road right in front of us. What an experience!
Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
