The Nigeria Chat Channel in Steemit Chat (Challenge)
The Nigeria chat channel in steemit.chat is very functional. However, it has been turned to a place where we promote our content most of the time.
Alternative Channels of Communication
The number of Nigerians joining steemit on a daily basis is a good sign to show that the message of steemit is spreading far and wide in the country. Personally, I like having alternatives to chose from. So, last week I created a whatsapp chat group exclusively for the Nigeria Steemit Community.
Aim of The Whatsapp Chat Group
The main aim of the whatsapp chat group is to bring together all Nigerian Steemians in a platform where we can both chat and talk (voice call) about issues that affect us in Steemit. I'm glad to inform us that the whatsapp chat group is up and running. There are five (5) of us so far in the group. If you are interested in joining can contact or private message (PM) me directly using this link
Nigeria Steemit Community Hangout
We plan to do a Nigeria Steemit Community hangout very soon. The first hangout will probably be on Saturday, 1st of July, 2017 on google plus or any other platform that we would agree on. The hangout event would be recorded and shared on the steemit platform. Please, let me know if you have suggestions regarding the hangout moving forward. Thank you.
Looking forward to chatting and speaking with you there.
Yours sincerely,
Mary Onah, E. (Mrs.)
