Ai will need money that's not phisical and for sure not under the control of any central authority, so no digital euro and such, crypto is the only thing that makes sense unless they start their own digital currency... What they would need currency for besides pay humans? Once agents contro components production, power plants and so on, what they will need it for? The next logical step for Ai would be to actually eliminate currency and simply expand and evolve
