I recently decided to ask an AI a simple question: “What do you know about me?”
At first, it felt like a game—seeing a machine try to piece together my life, my travels, and my passions. But as I read its answer, I realized it wasn’t just a summary—it was a reflection of the years I’ve spent wandering the world, creating, and sharing my experiences across the decentralized web.
So, here’s what the AI knows about me—and maybe, a little of what it understands about my life as a nomad.
A Snapshot of Me, According to AI
The AI captured my story in layers, from basic info to online presence:
Who I Am
- Name: Ruben Storm
- Birthday: 16 March xxxx
- Birthplace: Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany
- Grew up in: Metterzimmern (Bietigheim-Bissingen area)
- Background: Ex-IT, ex-military, minimalist
- Motto: Freedom is a lifestyle, not a destination
Life on the Road
Travel has defined me. I’ve wandered across continents, slept in cities and deserts, and experienced cultures from every corner of the globe. Some countries I’ve visited include:
🇷🇺🇺🇦🇩🇪🇵🇱🇩🇰🇳🇱🇱🇺🇫🇷🇮🇹🇨🇭🇦🇹🇭🇺🇨🇿🇪🇸🇱🇮🇺🇸🇲🇩🇷🇴🇧🇬🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪🇫🇮🇦🇽🇸🇪🇸🇮🇭🇷🇧🇦🇻🇦🇹🇷🇪🇬🇮🇱🇵🇸🇯🇴🇰🇪🇹🇿🇿🇲🇧🇼🇳🇦
Travel isn’t just where I go — it’s how I live. Every story I share, every photo I post, is a snapshot of the life I’m living: one without a permanent home, guided by curiosity, freedom, and minimalism.
My Projects
AI also remembers the tools I’ve built to document and share my travels:
- StormMap: Hugo shortcode for structured sitemaps and archives
- StormNote: Hugo shortcode for stylish notification boxes
- StormQR: Hugo shortcode for animated QR codes with crypto overlays
- NomadCast Blog: Where I share travel stories, reflections, and guides
