I welcome you to my blog this evening, My topic of discussion is on vitamin
Vitamins
vitamins is a micronutrients as the word denotes "micro" which means small. hence, vitamins are needed in minutes quantity in the body.
It has a unique characteristics which can be easily identified easily example of such include Riboflavin (vitamin B2) having a yellowish colour this same colour is also applicable to Ascorbic acid (vitamin c) etc.
The vitamin nutrient is basically divided into two which are :
water soluble vitamin and
fat soluble vitamin.
Fat soluble vitamins are simply those vitamins that dissolved in contact with fat examples of this vitamins are ADKE
Vitamin A(retinol)
Vitamin A majorly are used for the cure of night blindness or any related diseases affecting the eye.
They could be gotten easily from food products e.g fish, meat.
vitamin D (calciferol)
vitamin D is needed for strong bone and also to prevent disease like osteomalacia and osteoporosis.
vitamin e (ergosterol)
ergosterol is required for the development of the female reproductive system.
vitamin k (phylloquinone)
vitamin k is required for the formation of the blood in the body
while
Vitamin B
Vitamin B complex as the word denotes complex simply means many. example includes
vitamin B2( riboflavin)
Riboflavin is used for the cure of various skin disease.
vitamin b3 (niacin)
niacin is needed for the normal functioning of the respiratory organ.
vitamin B 5 (pantothenic acid)
vitamin b6 (pyridoxine) etc.
