Today I will talking discussing about a disease that affect dogs quickly and can cause death very fast.
CANINE PARVOVIRAL ENTERITIS
Highly contagious disease. It is cause by a virus know as parvovirus type 2.
How this is disease is transmitted include
through direct contact
through faeces and mouth.
virus are seen in your dog's stool.
even your clothes and shoes that transmit it if not properly clean before entering your kennel.
Different form of the disease are
- the ones that affect puppy( cardiovascular form)
- the one that affect intestine and stomach
How you will know dogs is infected include
- infected dog will be vomiting
- there will blood in diarrhea of the infected dog.
- your dog won't eat as it normal does
- there will lose of fluid in the body.
- your dog will be lean.
- coma and cough.
How to prevent your dog from this disease include
- personal hygiene
- vaccination of your dog
- ensure clean environment
- clean your shoes, hand and clothes before touching your dog and entering your dog kennel
- always isolate the dog infected( this disease is easily transmitted among dogs)
