On the Topic of this Week...
In recent times especially in the health sector in Nigeria, there has been incessant strikes. Yes, this was even the topic of discuss last week and those that contributed gave reasonable reasons for strike but none mentioned the major reason why the health sector embarked on such strike action(here in Nigeria).
It is said that a body which comprises of nurses, pharmacist, laboratory technicians and other paramedics embarked on a strike action because the government isn't paying attention to them and granting their request for increment of salaries like how they would normally do for the doctors.
This has really been an issue between doctors and nurses brining about all sort of negativity between these set of individuals. Now the question is, is it right that nurses collect the same pay or privileges as with the doctors?
Let's get to hear from you all on this matter. Every comment gets a good Upvote.
We expect your candid opinions on this topic!
