Hello my dears steemers this time i got you an interesting topic that is getting more and more practiced on teens and
young adults community. It is called "Narcoshot".
Etimology
The origin and meaning of this word is not exactly known but we can relate it with the practice of inhale a psychotropic substance for that reason it's added de word "narco" at first and then "shot" because the little glass filled with alcohol in this case.
What is it a Narcoshot?
It is the practice of inhale alcohol. There are distinct forms like "OxyShot" wich is inhaled through a special system (steam status) and "Narcoshot" that is inhaled direct from the shotglass by the nostrils.

These type of practices are becoming a common trend in Europe at countries like Spain and London(even are available in local bars). In my country Venezuela is known by the teens and young adults that this practice is growing little by little.
What happen in our bodies?
Due to the irritant property of the alcohol that generates a burn sensation known as "pyrosis" that passes through the nasal mucosa and upper respiratory tract causing damage to them and its toxic action is faster because it does not pass through the liver to be metabolized.
Among the symptoms are:
- headache
- dizziness
- greater and faster state of intoxication
- irritation of upper airways
- Depression of the central nervous system
- vomiting
- loss of consciousness
And its complications:
- Destruction of the nasal septum that generates defects to smell
- Death
Knowing this brief information is necessary to take care of their children whose ages are included in the age of adolescents or young adults, educate them and be aware of the symptoms.
