Due to air pollution, the risk of diabetes increases. A research in China reveals that there is a direct connection between air pollution and diabetes. Research found that in the quantity of air in a cubic meter, when the quantity of PM 2.5 increases by 10 micrograms, the risk of diabetes in such air increases by 16 percent.
PM 2.5 in the air is the most dangerous particle producing pollution. Due to being extremely subtle, it also produces deadly disease like lung cancer by entering the lungs. This study was done by the researchers from Phuai Hospital of China and Emory University of America. Research has been published on Environment International. During the study, 88 thousand samples were collected from 15 provinces.
