10 days ago I've started with a fun project to create a Tree Bark Camouflage for my Airsoft Sniper inspired by a video from Snake the Sniper.
I've already modified the Stock and Silencer, so the outer barrel is what's left to do.
If you want to see the previous parts of the project you can check out :
First lets disassemble this thing. For now I only need the outer barrel.
I need to have a marking where the bolt-receiver sits so I don't smear anything on it. I already had one present from assembling and disassembling it so much.
I sanded it down lightly and added the putty mixed with the hardener to the lit. Let's smear it!
I added all the putty to the outer barrel and tried to create a nice structure on it. I left the space where the receiver sits untouched. It just needs to dry now.
After it dried I sanded it down so I can spray it.
First I sprayed it black
And then the brown color.
This is how it currently looks like when putting the 3 parts together.
I think I want to use a little bit darker brown because I think that it shines a bit too much. Mud brown should do the trick.
I also want to use some Olive Green that I think I'm going to apply with a sponge. And as a finishing touch I want to try and add some dried moss to it.
