Blessed day to all of us!
I am extremely happy to share my life story, because I know everyone here in this community is willing to listen without judgment, unlike other social media platforms.
I am Aiza Tapasao, 31 years old a full-time mom of three. My eldest daughter named Zabrina 9 years old a Grade 4 student. My second child is Zamantha 4 years old a daycare pupil. And my youngest son Zian 3 years old.
I am proud that I came from a poor family.
In my childhood days there's a lot of things that I've never experienced before like going to a mall or eating at Jollibee ,McDonald’s, or Mang Inasal because we lived far from the city and we had no money for those things. I always laugh when it comes in my mind now because even riding an escalator or elevator used to scare me. HAHA.
All we did before was helping our parents on the farm, since farming is one of our source of income. We are happy even though we lacked of experiences that most people consider part of REAL LIFE.
Most of the time my siblings and I helped our mother on the farm because my father worked as a construction worker. His job was not easy, he endured intense heat every single day.
We are five of us siblings and I am the youngest. I used to think that being the youngest meant you were lucky because you have older sisters and brothers who are willing to help you. But that wasn’t the case for me. Maybe other kids experienced that, but not me. Because when my 2 older sisters got married, I took on all the household chores like washing dishes, cleaning the house, and doing the laundry. I took all of it on because I felt sorry for my mother whenever I saw her doing the laundry. So instead of just playing like other kids, I’m proud to say that at the young age of 10, I already knew how to do all the household work.
When I was young, I really saw how our parents worked hard to provide us with decent clothes and send us to school. I could see it in their eyes just how difficult the struggles they went through were for us. They endured the rain and heat Mama and Papa did everything just to give us a good life. They didn’t mind the heat coming from the sun to their bodies even when they were hungry if something needed to be finished, they did get it done right away. That’s what I will never forget about Papa.
I've never regretted WHO I AM or WHERE I CAME FROM, because they are my GREATEST TREASURE. I am so proud to have grown up in the family I was born into. We may have been POOR in MATERIAL THINGS , but we were RICH in LOVE. We were raised to be RESPECTFUL and GOD-FEARING.
So now that I have my own family with beautiful and handsome children and most of all a loving husband, I tell myself that even though my dearest father has passed away, the lessons he taught me about being a good parent and spouse remain fresh in my mind and heart. I strive to follow them and raise my children well. I also thank God because He never failed me even when I can’t fulfill all my responsibilities perfectly, He is always there ready to help us
Apparently I work as a public servant in our barangay, and my husband is also a public servant of our country. We love serving people and my father is one of my inspiration.
