For so long have I struggled,
Buried in the shadows
Of the men over me.
I found it hard to be my man,
And unsafe to stand alone.
Even for once!
So they toyed with my life,
Made a laughing stock
Of the dreams I had.
I could never amount...,
Amount to anything,
And within their hearts
They were content it was so!
But man is born as a child
As a child to become man
Someday...!
Still he can be both even at 50
If others remain lords
Over his affairs.
They'll watch him live
Miserably, till his days
Come to a miserable end.
Wake up son! You have a life to live.
