Its a cryptonight based coin so you don't need an ASIC to mine it. But the thing is that it has been going up in value quite a bit.
I think this is going to be a "pump and dump" coin. It has risen 500% in value in only 7 days.
Price per Bytecoin is 188satoshi at this very moment. This is maybe an option for investement? I don't know for sure.
