Racial profiling unfortunately has been rampant since 9/11. American society is made up of racial and cultural biases and prejudices against the people of Muslim countries. Focusing on the novel The Reluctant Fundamentalist, the character of Changez has been portrayed as the representative of Muslim’s identity. The research focuses on Donald J.Trump’s racist and extremist narratives and the misrepresentation of Muslims as extremists in United States. To view Muslims as extremists and to treat them on the basis of racism is the basic aspect of American’s politics. To study the white supremacy and the character of Erica is the basic part of this research.
