This is a picture of my late Golden Retriever, Shadow. He was there greatest dog ever, bu Ial sure everyone whoo has had the pleasure of being a dog owner says the same about thiere dog.
People have had a symbiotic relationship with dogs over thousans of years. They have been used for. Hunting , protection ,and working with livestock.
our dog Shadow was part of the familiy. He went to the beach with us and most vaction that we drove to the destiation.
Shadow loved the beach and everyone there loved him.
He was a pound dog. Who was scheduled to be put down that week. luckly we found each other in time.
We spent ten great years together. When you are a child your parents tell you your dog went to live with a family up north with a farm. When you are agrown man you know better. So when that day comes you cry like a little baby because you knowyou are not really putting your best friend to "sleep"
Then one day you decide its time to get another best friend.
We got another Golden from a rescue organization. We named her Ladybug. Alot of people did not like the name but they loved Ladybud
She has a different personality but just as caring and lovable as Shadow
My only complaint is she will eat literally anything. I do not what to even say what her favorite food is. Clue , it does not come from a grocery store.
Now Ladybug is starting to show some gray. I am going to enjoy every minute I can.
