Paragraf119 was a Copenhagen punk band that was characterized by their hard expressive punk rock and political texts. The band's genre was Anarcho-punk . However, the band has musically greater equality with genres like hardcore , metal and crust. The group emerged in the late 90s, in the environment around Ungdomshuset on Jagtvej 69 in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, and was dissolved in 2003, when one female singer, Katrine, was pregnant.
The band plates were among others published in the Danish record label Kick'n'Punch .
Band name is named after Penal Code § 119 - Violence against a public official.
