I guess it depends how we are defining "authority" and it's depending on that notion on how I agree with some people having authority while simultaneously no one does.
In the sense, for example, in blue collar fields, it is natural for people to look towards those with most experience as ones with "authority" because they are most capable of understanding what is going on and what needs to happen. But I disagree in the terms of authority when it means the moral right to rule others. Certainly almost all people can use force to make someone do what they want in one form another but just because we can doesn't mean we should. Nor does it mean that just because we can and that some do, make it justified or legitimate.
