And why does it simultaneously give rays of hope for a better future? In my opinion, it is.....
The Simplicity
To have liberty, people need to do two things.
1. Learn how to obtain liberty.
2. Base their actions on that knowledge.
According to the inherent and immutable Natural Law, the bottom line is:
Don’t Steal.
Don’t steal an individual’s life, rights, or private property. In other words, don’t harm others.
It’s really that simple. If this one simple law is obeyed, then liberty occurs.
And humans not only don’t behave in this way, but most don’t even have the knowledge itself.
And what is the result of so many people being ignorant of this knowledge?
The extreme suffering that has been going on for thousands of years.
That’s the frustration part.
However, not to dwell on the negative, the simplicity also presents great hope.
Why?
Just for that same reason.
It's so remarkably SIMPLE.
It's not difficult to do.
Also, I must say that it seems that more individuals have this knowledge now than, say, ten years ago. Or 100 years ago, for that matter.
I was ignorant of this knowledge no more than 3 years ago.
So slow progress is being made. But I must say, again, due to the sheer simplicity of this knowledge, it remains frustrating that more people are not becoming aware at a more exponential rate.
Thanks for reading my mini “rant”. Felt good.
To learn about Natural Law, I recommend Mark Passio's presentation.
Thanks for your time and attention!
Just say "NO" to slavery!
