Earthworms are animals we must know. For those of you who like gardening certainly not uncommon to meet with this one animal. When studying biology first we know that Earthworms belong to the kingdom Animalia.
In Egyptian times the kingdom of Cleoptara used to regard earthworms as holy beings. Unlike in Greece, earthworms are called by Socrates as his land intestines. While in Indonesia itself, especially in the red land of Madura, people often hunt this animal to be processed into a medicinal herb.
Some of us may think worms are a disgusting animal, and do not benefit us much except for farmers who find it helpful in the process of maintaining the quality of their plantation soil. In fact, the researchers are really very interested to conduct research related to the properties of this earthworm. The research has been done for a period of about 50 years, and they found that there is a fluid of earthworms of earthworms containing more than 40 kinds of proteins.
