Scientists have recently put giraffes in the official list of endangered species. It means that this animal is now in an unsafe condition. According to the International Nature Conservation Association (IUCN), the number of giraffes in the year 1985 was between 1,51,000 and 1,63,000, but in 2015, they were reduced to 97,562. In a meeting organized on biodiversity in Mexico, IUCN told seven species involved in its red list of endangered species.
